Chorella

Chlorella.JPG

Chlorella is a single-celled freshwater algae.

It reportedly contains a very high amount of

chlorophyll and is a rich source of vitamins and minerals.

Chlorella is the world's most researched food product

and is the finest, broad spectrum dietary supplement available today.

Our Prime Chlorella is of the highest quality,

pure and cultured in sunshine. It is cultured

in filtered clean mineral water and processed

especially for highest digestion.  It is tested regularly

in Canada, and mercury concentration is lower than

detection limit.

A single-celled fresh water algae, chlorella is among the most ancient life forms on the earth, and is virtually unchanged in over 2 billion years of existence. Thus it harbors the spark that characterized the original creative energy of the planet.

One of the richest foods in protein, beta carotene, and nucleic acids (RNA and DNA), chlorella contains more chlorophyll than any other food.  The following are special features of chlorella:

  • Assimilates almost instantly as its massive protein and beneficial fats are predigested by the alga. Users often feel more energy in their lives.

  • Boosts immunity, partly as a result of its rich store of acid polysaccharides.

  • Cleanses environmental toxins from the body including radiation residues, pesticides, herbicides, and most toxic "heavy" metals including mercury.

  • Builds the "Yin" of the body according to ancient Chinese healing tradition, meaning that it helps overcome stress, inflammation, and mental irritation.

Of all the supplements in our supplier's 30 years of clinical practice in nutrition, chlorella fosters a greater sense of well-being-for more people-than any other supplement. More effective than the mere sum of its nutrients, chlorella is a whole food whose potency results from the perfect integration of all its nutrient dimensions.

Usage Suggestions: I find that one of the best ways to use chlorella is in the form of tablets: chew them up at the end of meals with a little food. This reduces the desire to eat sweets later. Tablets also go well at other times of the day to quell blood sugar rushes and the associated cravings-chew them thoroughly, either alone or, with a snack such as roasted pumpkin seeds or celery sticks. (Chlorella tablets must be chewed up or they will not digest fully.) Any residue on the teeth or gums will protect and heal those tissues of the mouth. Chlorella is also available as powder for mixing with water or other drinks.

Magnesium Liquid Ionic -Nutrition Facts

Q. How should I store this product?
     A. Liquid Ionic Magnesium should be used 2 months after opening, and should be kept in the fridge with the

lid tightly closed to avoid oxidization.
Q. Why is there so little Magnesium in this product?
     A. There is 25 mg of Elemental Magnesium in the product because it is in an ionic form meaning that it is almost

100 % absorbed by the body. Initial product trials showed that anymore would render the participant extremely

lethargic. It is that well absorbed.

Fasting Days

The Fasting Days Formula

Full spectrum essential amino acids
Drinking essential amino acids (EAA) during your fast stimulates muscle protein synthesis and prevents muscle loss.
L-Carnitine (L-carnitine tartrate)
L-Carnitine is the amino acid responsible for transporting long-chain fatty acids into the mitochondria. Without sufficient amounts of carnitine, fat can’t get into the mitochondria to be burned for fuel.
Taurine
Taurine acts as osmolyte(i.e., it regulates fluid balance). As such, taurine optimizes cellular hydration. Taurine also regulates water and electrolytes in the blood, playing an essential role in preventing muscle cramping.
L-Tyrosine
L-Tyrosine is an amino acid that is metabolized to produce neurotransmitters such as dopamine and adrenaline. Increasing levels of these neurotransmitters cause improvements incognitive function, physical performance, metabolic rateand fat loss.
L-Theanine
Theaninesupplementation causes the release of the brain neurotransmitter gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). GABA boosts mood and mental focus.

L-Alpha-GlycerophosphorylCholine (Alpha GPC)
L-Alpha-GlycerophosphorylCholine (Alpha GPC) is a choline-containing phospholipid that enhances cognitive function, increases strength and stimulates the release of growth hormone.
L-Glutamine
L-Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid in human plasma and plays a vital role in the health of the immune system, digestive tract, and muscle cells.
Prebiotic Fiber sources
Research shows that supplementing with prebiotic fibres improves regularity, reduces cholesterol, and promotes weight loss.
Citrullinemalate
Supplementing with citrullinemalate increases the synthesis of nitric oxide (NO) in the blood, which dilates blood vessels, increases blood flow, regulates glucose uptake and optimizes mitochondria function.
L-Proline
L-Prolineis an important amino acid responsible for cellular regeneration, tissue repair, and collagen building.
Electrolytes (Magnesium Bisglycinate, Magnesium Ascorbate, Potassium Gluconate)
Bodily functions like muscle contractions and transmission of nerve impulses depend on electrolytes.

Magnesium –Magnesium is the fourth most abundant cation in the body and is needed by every cell in the human body.
Potassium –Potassium is the third-most prevalent mineral in the body and is needed for muscular contractions, blood pressure regulation, fluid balance, bone growth and nutrient digestion.
Trace vitamins and minerals (manganese, biotin, copper, folate, iodine, selenium, chromium)
Manganese–Manganese is a trace mineral that is required for the normal functioning of your brain, nervous system and many of your body’s enzyme systems. Manganese is a part of the antioxidant enzyme superoxide dismutase (SOD), which is arguably one of the most important antioxidants in your body.
Biotin –Biotin is a B vitamin that help the body metabolize fats and carbohydrates.
Copper –Copper is an essential trace mineral that is found in all body tissues and plays an important role in making red blood cells and maintaining proper nerve cell communication.
Methylated Folate –Folate helps the body metabolize proteins, form red blood cells, and regulates the metabolic process of lowering blood serum homocysteine levels, which prevents oxidative stress and atherosclerosis.

Aside: why methylation matters –It is estimated that up to 30% of the population is unable to metabolize the unmethylatedforms of Folate and Vitamin B12. The active forms of these B vitamins are referred to as themethylatedform. This is the form that your body can actually utilize.

Iodine –Your thyroid gland uses iodine to make thyroid hormones, which control growth, repair damaged cells and support a healthy metabolism.
Selenium –Selenium is an essential mineral that has been shown to prevent cardiovascular disease and other chronic diseases by increasing enzymatic antioxidant activity and decreasing lipid peroxidation.
Chromium –Chromium augments the actions of insulin, which controls blood sugar levels. Research shows that keeping blood sugar levels stables enhances fat loss, decreases appetite and even helps ward off several chronic diseases like heart disease and diabetes.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is a powerful anti-oxidant that helps improve the efficiency in which the body uses oxygen. This allows the body to more easily adapt to stress. In addition, vitamin C helps the body metabolize fats and proteins, allows for proper wound healing, and is essential for the production of high quality collagen and connective tissue.
Vitamin B6
Vitamin B6 is water soluble B-vitamin that is involved in over 100 reactions in the human body.
Methylated Vitamin B12
Vitamin B12 is a water soluble B-vitamin that is neededfor proper metabolism and red blood cell formation.
Aside: why methylation matters –It is estimated that up to 30% of the population is unable to metabolize the unmethylatedforms of Folate and Vitamin B12. The active forms of these B vitamins are referred to as themethylatedform. This is the form that your body can actually utilize.

1. Won’t Fasting Days Break My Fast?
The fasted state is not an on/off switch that immediately gets turned off once you have a tiny number of calories. The

research is not clear on exactly what it is with fasting that causes the positive effects seen in the clinical trials, but most

    researcher hypotheses revolve around

    a) letting insulin levels drop below a certain threshold

    b) creating an acute energy deficit
The small number of calories found in a greens drink, essential amino acid supplement like Fasting Days™, lemon water

or black coffee/tea will not break your fast or kick you out of ketosis.
2. Isn’t It Unhealthy to Skip Breakfast?
No. Most stereotypical breakfast skippers have unhealthy lifestyles. Skipping breakfast in itself is not unhealthy.
3. Can I Take Supplements While Fasting?
Yes. However, some supplements like fat-soluble vitamins may work better when taken with meals.
4. Can I Work out While Fasted?
Yes. However, it is recommended to consume a drink that contains essential amino acids (EAAs) like Fating Days

during a workout while fasting to prevent muscle loss.
5. Will Fasting Cause Muscle Loss?

All weight loss methods can cause muscle loss which is why it’s important to lift weights and keep dietary protein intake

high. Generally speaking, muscle loss during fasting isn’t a concern unless you are fasting for periods greater than 24

    hours.
6. Will Fasting Slow Down My Metabolism?
No. Studies show that short-term fasts actually boost metabolism. However, long duration fasts of 3 or more days can

    suppress metabolism.
